If you are looking forward to having an amazing beach resort experience in a hotel that is close to almost everywhere but that is not necessarily affordable hotels in San Juan Puerto Rico, Caribe Hilton is your option. Right next to Escambrón and Condado Beach, this hotel offers a lot of amenities to those who stay.
From here, you can walk to Old San Juan and Condado. The hotel is in a vibrant community where you can find restaurants such as Fogo de Chão.
If you are looking for a place next to the beach, but at the same time, not too far from the sightseeing, then this hotel is your option.

- Taxi to Old San Juan should not cost more than $10 and to the airport no more than $20.

Marriot Stellaris is right in the heart of the Condado Area. The beach is right behind it and it has different landmarks and fun places to visit within walking distance. Condado has a really good restaurant scene which is one of the reasons I would recommend it.
On a good day, you can walk from here to Old San Juan or to the hip area in Calle Loiza, which also has a good local bar scene and different local restaurants and spots you might love to visit.
This hotel as well offers different amenities and is a common place for meetings and conventions.

This resort has a magic of its own and, from my position as a local, is one of my favorite spots in the city. On Friday nights it offers a variety of activities to do. You have there one of the most famous clubs in the city there called Brava or you just can enjoy the show by the band in the Lobby. That is exactly what I usually do.
So definitely, this is one of the hotels I would recommend the most, although I am conscious is not one of the most affordable hotels in San Juan Puerto Rico.

This is one of the most affordable hotels in San Juan Puerto Rico and one you should consider. If you asked me, Conturce Hostel is my top choice from all of this.

Traveling to Puetro Rico for wedding with one night in San Juan then via rental car driving to San Sebastián for the wedding. A little concerned about Zika Virus; any thoughts.

Media has made Zika way bigger than it really has been so far. I haven’t met a single person in the island infected with Zika. Of course you need to protect yourself using mosquito repellent, but it shouldn’t be a huge worry while exploring the island.
